Mental health

What do we mean by mental health issues?

Mild-to-moderate mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety affect a person’s mental well-being and can have a big impact on things like self-esteem and motivation. They may also affect cognitive skills which can result in a temporary spiky profile. At Genius Within we work with our clients to focus on strengths as well as tackle problems.

It’s good to talk

Mental health issues are varied and often co-occur with other neurodistinct conditions. Whilst we talk much more about mental health issues than we used to, there is still a stigma that can make seeking support feel intimidating. We have proven strategies to help our clients move forward with increased confidence. Did you know however, that mental health issues frequently come with skills and abilities such as creativity, empathy and deep detailed thinking?
